Shared spaces between the classrooms

The center occupies both sides of a public mall corridor. Curved openings and layered thresholds connect focused rooms with shared spaces for movement, play, and learning.

After the Studio Principal established the overall concept, I developed the interior design and 3D model, reviewed construction drawings, coordinated key details, and supported site, client, and contractor coordination through completion.

Built result: shared learning spaces

The completed center opens classrooms onto shared areas for movement, play, and learning. Curved thresholds, child-scaled built-ins, and the suspended ceiling composition give the public spaces a clear identity.

3D model / Built result

I developed the 3D model after the overall concept was established, using it to refine curved partitions, built-in elements, sightlines, and the ceiling composition. The completed interior shows those relationships carried through to construction.

Detail drawing / Built finish

The aquarium-enclosure section records proportions and material transitions reviewed during detail coordination. The completed reception area shows how curved joinery, timber lining, and framed openings were resolved as a consistent finish language.

Construction coordination / Completed result

Paired reception and corridor records show the project moving from unfinished site conditions to the completed interior. Site follow-up supported design adjustments and coordination with the client and contractor through delivery.
